The MI North Studio
Production & Training Center
We built MI North in Plano as a long-term studio, a place where young filmmakers could learn in a true professional environment.
The Shops at Willow Bend was originally slated for only a partial closure, so the decision to close the entire mall was unexpected and disheartening. In summer 2026, we carefully packed up the studio and closed that chapter.
Real Productions. Real Training.
MI North was a fully equipped production facility: a place to train young filmmakers and to host professional productions. Students lit, shot, recorded, and performed in the same spaces professionals used every day.
It was a great thrill to offer our young filmmakers an elevated experience in a professional studio environment.
